Where did you see it? I'm only seeing the $300 right now, even though at the top of the NCL page makes mentions the $250 free credit.

They forgot to change the banner. It was only available for a short time.  Now there's a double up for any stateroom for CruiseNext. Normally it's balcony and up only.

I booked a cruise leaving on May 1st with two $750 off coupons. I want to get another $750 off coupon for a cruise in Oct-Nov this year. Does anyone know when the 180 day timer start in order to get and use a second award?

Seems like the only free cruises they have are the one way Alaska cruises where flights might be a deal breaker. There are a lot of those cruises so I can only guess they won't have other free cruises unless those clear out. I could be wrong so who knows.

There are other considerations. It looks like once you use an NCL reward they won't let you use another one until 180 days. Anyone know for sure? I was denied using a $500 off when I used a $750 off already. I don't know how the "free" cruises would figure into this. I'm surprised myVEGAS let me get the $500 off but the system did. I haven't tried to get a free cruise reward yet. Trying to get a refund through customer support is a pain since technically it's non-refundable.

I used my $750 off on Jan 21 for a cruise in May. I "purchased" the reward on Jan 18 8am or so. The popups on the myvip website and games have said I can't purchase again until July 20 7am and mention 180 days. Sorry, I don't remember where exactly I saw it. July 20 is 180 days from when I booked (aka the reward was redeemed).

My experience with Playstudios is they or their partners don't always hold themselves to the terms. You can try to get another reward and redeem it but you risk wasting points if you can't get a refund. While you have the reward you could be missing out on other rewards. I panicked when I saw the giftcards available in Tetris and purchased $10 Cheesecake Factory and $10 Google Play giftcards only to see the ones I really wanted (AMC and Amazon) available the next day. Too bad you're limited to 2 giftcards every 14 days.

Thanks a lot for the info. I didn't know Tetris is active yet. Will check it out

Not to hijack the thread, but I also didn't know that Tetris was active. I just downloaded, and linked my accounts. Unfortunately I don't see anywhere to redeem loyalty points or any "rewards" at all. Do you know where to find the "rewards" in the Tetris app?

I'll answer myself.... Haha.

I think you just have to reach a level threshold within the Tetris game before the Rewards become available. Perhaps it's Rank 3.

I’m new to this thread, so I may have missed something, even though I’ve read through the whole thing. Apologies if this has been addressed…

I book “free” cruises through CAS, but also have a large balance of points through myVegas. I rarely redeem because most rewards are of low value or are simply not needed if you are already comped or have a host relationship.

As best as I can tell, the “dollars off” rewards for NCL can’t be used for gratuities, fees or taxes, so is there anything I could actually use them for when booking a “free” cruise directly with CAS?

I often pre-pay the DSC with a Cruise First certificate, but the DSC is considered “gratuities” and not eligible here for the myVegas redemption? Can I buy additional specialty dining packages, Wi-Fi or upgrade to Free at Sea Plus?

(Sadly, unlike RCI, they do not seem to be offering slot play rewards. I’d be all over that!)

The $$$ off offer is used for the base price of the cruise. And you can't combine a free cruises offer with a $$$ off cruise offer.

I think the key is one _casino_ offer only. They denied me trying to combine a Caesars Rewards 20% off with the myVEGAS $750 off but a 20% off regular coupon was okay. Then again, two different people can use the dollar off rewards on the same cabin. Maybe someone should just try their luck if they don’t mind wasting the points and potentially being blocked from using another NCL reward for a time. Maybe try a room upgrade if your free cruise doesn’t already have it.

Keep in mind sometimes the casino people can just give you stuff at their discretion so it might not be myVEGAS allowing it.

I reached Rank 3 in Tetris, but still don't see how to get any awards. Can someone please show the steps to use Tetris?

Have you linked your account (through Facebook, or whatever method you've previously used)?

The big banner that says myVIP REWARDS with my loyalty point total appeared after I reached rank 3.

Debating whether I should target a 750k redemption for $750 off or save up for a 4M redemption for a cruise.

We usually get a balcony though. Does anyone know how much the upgrade to a balcony is?

Unfortunately neither the $500 nor the $750 ones have been repopulating lately...perhaps that gravy train is gone?

They seemed to stop populating once the free Alaska cruises were added. Maybe once they sell out the $$$ off rewards will come back.

I connected my Facebook account, but do not see my LPs or the banner. And I reached Rank 4. I will try messaging customer support.

yes, thanks for your answer. i completely understand. let me ask the question in a slightly different way; perhaps i wasn't clear.

as far as i can tell, the "free" cruise they are referencing (that can't be combined) is the free cruise reward within myvegas. i would not expect to be able to apply a myvegas $$$ off reward with a myvegas free cruise reward. this is specifically prohibited. i get that.

but i would not be using a myvegas free cruise reward.

i would be booking a free cruise directly with CAS from a CAS offer.

typically, i am able to apply FCC, Cruise Next or Cruise First certificates to the CAS "free" cruise to reduce the various fees and charges. i know the $$$ off myvegas certificates can't be used to offset fees or gratuities. but what about free at sea plus or wifi or additional specialty dining? that goes into my total cruise fare... can i apply a myvegas reward to offset these charges?

honestly, i've looked at the terms and i don't see the "base price" mentioned at all, as in the myvegas reward can only be applied to the "base price." where are folks seeing that? is that a misinterpretation of the clause that says it can't be applied to "gratuities, taxes or fees" so it is thought that it can't be applied to other charges?

for the record, NCL refers to the "price" of additional dining and wifi and they alternately refer to it as an "upgrade" or as a package," but not a "fee." also for the record, the terms do explicitly state that it can be combined with free at sea.

hey, look, i don't reasonably expect anybody to have a definitive answer to this, unless you have done this very thing... i just wanted to clarify my question and point out that there is more than one kind of "free" cruise.

i'll ask an NCL rep, then - most likely - have to HUACA.

i can report back and share my experience.

Curious--where did you get a 20% off coupon?
