To sum up, on Norwegian Jade avoid Le Bistro and aft dining room. (Don't own a pair of long pants and have zero interest in acquiring any 🙂 )

 

For what is worth, the shorts I wear habitually all cover the knees and would not be at all suitable for going to gym.

Yes, shorts are not allowed in Le Bistro.
