Golf in Dublin

We are going on a cruise around Ireland in May. My husband would really love to play golf in one of the ports. We are in Dublin for 2 days, so he figures that would be the best port for it. Does anyone have any recommendations for courses in the area that might offer packages for tourist that include clubs?

Thanks.

Will you be in Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaire?

Dun Laoghaire Golf Club (parkland) offers green fees and club hire.  You can make a booking online

Maybe some of your other ports would be closer to a nice Links course.  We can arrange as much wind and rain as you need 😉

Further south of Dublin there is Powerscourt, who have clubs available. This could be a 'couple day' as Powerscourt is a beautiful place to spend some time.

and Druids Glen     https://www.druidsglenresort.com/index.html

Druids Glen had club hire ok, but that was a few years ago that I was there.

To the north of Dublin is Howth Golf club (club hire available)

and also, Luttrellstown Castle golf course  (club hire available)

here is a link to a teetime booking site, which lists a lot of courses availabe for pay per play green fees.  https://www.teetimes.ie/courserates.php

We golfed an afternoon at The K Club about 45 minutes away from Dun Laoghaire which we did with a car service. They rent clubs for both Arnold Palmer courses on property. Easy to book tee times online.
