charmingtortoise Posted February 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2023 I am Latitudes Gold tier and it shows that you get Priority Tender Tickets. How does that work? Do you have to go to guest services the day before or something? If you don't have priority do you just show up and get on when you can? We've been so lucky that we've had like 2 tender ports before and I can't remember how it works. It looks like we will have one at George Town, Grand Cayman so just trying to get it set in my mind. Rare BirdTravels Posted February 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2023 Check on the ship “Priority” normally means you can join the END of the line at any time. The only people that join the front of the line are Haven/Suites guests being escorted. The last time we tendered in Grand Cayman, the end of the line to shore took over an hour. I think that this was the exception, but we almost missed our shore ex.

My one and only experience of great stirrup cay had a bunch of folks miss their morning excursions because the tender queuing was so badly managed. I had a ticket for the first tender after excursions and vips and it was after 1pm before I made it to the island, the tenders started to be called at 11am.
charmingtortoise Posted February 12, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted February 12, 2023 Thank you both. Didn't even think about them letting excursions go first. Makes me nervous about trying to do an excursion on our own.
casofilia Posted February 12, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2023 Remember that those able to make use of the Concierge join the front of the queue when the Concierge, or concierge's staff member, takes them. Sometimes that is also useful if the Concierge is ashore when you want to return to the ship too.
