question regarding OBCs

As a potential newcomer to Silversea trying to price a specific cruise, it appears that some of the more attractive TA offerings include OBC, sometimes quite substantial.

Can anyone provide me insight into how valuable the OBCs are? Good as cash, or hard to use? I tend not to order extras (specialty dining, spa) on other cruises and on a cruise line billing itself as all-inclusive, I'm not sure I'd find a use for them. Can one launder them in the casino?

Very valuable.  Almost as good as cash and not hard to use.

Maybe you’ll find that since you have OBC you’ll order extras in order to use your OBC.  And, no, you cannot use them in the casino.  However, many do use them in the shops on board.

Our TA provides rebates which we prefer. Sure we can use the OBC (shops, spa, select excursions etc) but to me they are not as valuable as OBC on Oceania for example. We used our OBC for a massage (a complete waste of money), La dame (worth every dollar) and last day excursion with airport transfer (this one is valuable only if you book P2P and don't have transfers included).
