Age/Height Requirements

Is there an age or height requirement for the climbing wall, water slides, and/or surf rider on Royal Caribbean ships.  Would love to take my grandson on a cruise but he is small for his age and would not be happy if he saw all the fun things and then they told him he was too little to use any of them.

Rock Climbing Wall

• Age Restriction: Children must be 6 years of age to participate.
• If the harness does not fit (too big or too little) the guest cannot participate.
• Climbers must wear socks, dry clothes, shorts or pants.

Some of the activities are age specific and some can be limited to min 42"- 47" depending on activity.

There is also a minimum weight requirement on the zip line on oasis class. My daughter was tall enough but not heavy enough.

They are strict about it as well.  For the Flowrider, my son who was short for his age at the time could do 360s and other tricks but they wouldn't let him do stand-up on the ship because he was 1/2" too short.

It's 52" to boogie board and 58" for stand up surfing on the Flow Rider.

 

Water slides are 48".

 

Ultimate abyss is 44".

 

Zip line is 52" with 75 lb minimum.
