Has anyone used RCI transportation from Bush airport in Texas to Galveston Port

Looking for input on this service.

 

Especially where do they meet at the airport?

What time are the buses leaving the airport to go to port?

What was your experience?

Where do they drop you off at port?

You can check costs.

uber is approximately $83 for small vehicle and $140 for large.

Lyft should be comparable.

I have been checking prices for the last several days.  I have seen Uber from the cruise port to IAH (Bush International Airport), and the reverse, between $63 and $83 and higher for small.  They seem to have averaged around $70.  Not $50 as stated by the travel agent mentioned earlier.

I was querying the price from TA. @NoelleCdidnt state which airport which makes a big difference.

Ok, even that was higher than @NoelleC’s TA quoted, unless they meant per person. So it still doesn’t make sense. 
 

You and I both know there is a big difference in distance between IAH and HOU.
 

It becomes confusing if people aren’t comparing costs from same place.

Absolutely.  And, even those costs can vary depending on time and size of vehicle.

We pay $140 to go to/from IAH from the island and $80 to/from Hobby for private transportation; not Uber or Lyft.

Just got a price which is reasonable.  $79.99 R/T from Bush to cruise terminal.  Problem is the return as I was advised that the initial shuttle starts @12:30 PM.  My flight is scheduled to leave at 12PM, so need to find alternative.  My question is what do Paxs do between disembarking and 12:30PM.
