Wonder of the seas questions

I have two questions and I'm sure someone has already posted these questions but here they are:

1. does anyone know if wonder of the seas have started the 1x a day housekeeping for staterooms and do they do it in the morning or evening?

2. With the new MDR menu can you substitute sides? For example could I ask for mashed potatoes instead of the listed side item or is it what you see is what you get?

 

Just curious because we are set to sail on WOS in a few months .

On 2. Just order whatever extra side you want. Baked potato or a app. The plates are pre plated and your waiter just removes whatever you want to remove. It's just trashed. Sometimes they bring the plate with the extra thing on a separate plate.

We were just on Wonder two weeks ago and our stateroom attendant serviced the room twice.  You can ask the waiters for whatever you want and they will accommodate you.

under the new food policies they do not substitute the plates.  If they have it, you might get it, but don't expect mashed potatoes if it's not on one of the plates.

A lot of the dishes now have rice with them as standard which isn’t our favourite.

 

We were able to order a baked potato on the side.

This isn’t true.     I got mashed taters for every meal.  And carrots    They even went in the back and got my taters when they forgot my mashed taters on one meal.  
I also got main course for my appetizer every night.

Not one meal I had had rice as a side.
