soccer2010 Posted February 26, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2023 Are 20s the largest bills that I should take or will 50s be accepted?
Rare shof515 Posted February 26, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2023 it is always better to bring smaller bills, makes it easier to get change if needed when doing a purchase. i always bring 20 and less. if i have big bills i exchange it to smaller bills onboard the ship

Rare jean87510 Posted February 26, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2023 $5, $10s. Because you will at times get change in their money. And it isn't always accurate. Just happened to us in Curacao at a gas station. We did check the exchange rate and they shorted us. They did make it right when we showed them. They didn't expect a cruise person to 1. have an international plan and 2. call them on their BS.
Ken at the beach Posted February 26, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2023 Depends on what you are buying. small bills for small purchases, larger bills for larger purchases.
hancock Posted February 26, 2023 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2023 The issue may be that you may get island money in change rather than US currency if they don't have enough $s .
