MacCruising2018 Posted February 27, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2023 Hi....I have a very basic question. I booked the Princess Ruby for a 10 day Panama Canal trip (YAY!) in an aft premium balcony, however it's not showing any other option for bed configuration than 2 twin's. Is this just a case of waiting until we get there to request they put the beds together? We will be using the pullman bed for our 10 year old kid traveling with us if that makes a difference. Thanks! Rare cr8tiv1 Posted February 27, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2023 Yes, that is correct. In order to have access to the pullman bed with a ladder (bed comes down from the ceiling), the the beds on the floor have to be in twin configuration. I thought we might be able to put the ladder on the end of the pullman like below.
skynight Posted February 27, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 27, 2023 Post #2 is correct. You can discuss with the cabin steward once on board. Maybe you can work something out.
Rare Essiesmom Posted February 27, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2023 One problem is that for the steward to service the bunk, he/she would have to stand on the bed. EM
