Moz Posted February 27, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2023 If a person were to request in a change of room with the same price from port to starboard, would there be a charge for this and would the reservation have to be cancelled and rebooked. Thank you.
mmbcater Posted February 27, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2023 (edited) It depends on what experience you booked, if it's Bella and they assigned the cabin then there's probably not a chance. Changing a cabin may activate a price change... Best to call or if you used a travel agent-have them call. Remember honey goes farther than vinegar (being spolite on the phone helps)-talk to the rep and ask them not to make ANY CHANGES until you agree to a cabin change and make sure the fare remains the same. Rare Morgsmom Posted February 27, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 27, 2023 If you have a competent Travel Agent you can TRY to do it, however, once a booking is open all sorts of things can happen INCLUDING it being re-fared.

Thank you. Don't do it!!! Nothing but trouble. You may end up paying more. You could be downgraded or even cancelled.
perakcruiser Posted February 27, 2023 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2023 Touching a happy booking for such a minor thing almost deserves a classical MSC IT repricing debacle 😄
Rare Mike B Landlubber Posted March 12, 2023 #7 Share Posted March 12, 2023 While in the Army I was told that once the various choices about allowances and deductions on my pay were working tolerably, never, ever touch them or change them again. That wisdom has served me well and has applications in many areas of life…. 🙂
