Casino on Breakaway….US dollars or Euros

I plan on making my daily donation to the Casino and don’t like to charge it to my Sign & Sail account because that just makes it too easy to overspend. Considering that the casino is the only place you use actual cash, do the slots take US currency or Euros? Similarly, what currency do you cash out in? We’re leaving out of Italy and doing Italy and Greece. Thanks

They currency on all NCL ships is US Dollars. If you advance against your room account, you incur a 3% fee. There are also ATMs onboard that charge a $6 service charge. But, consider withdrawing $500 for a $6 ATM fee versus cash advancing on your room card for a $15 fee....
