360 Experience

We are on the Discovery on 4-15 in a suite and elite with almost 70 cruises on Princess.  Do you think we might get invited? We are traveling with another couple in a suite and elite and if we do get invited we want to go with them. Has anyone ever experienced the chance to attend with their other folks in their group. We are grouped together for meals so Princess knows we are traveling as a group. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you can invite anyone you've friends with if you get an invitation.

That would not be workable since there is a limit to how many people can attend on any given night.

May I suggest when onboard go inquire about the 360 Experience with the Lounge Concierge mid aft Riviera deck 14

@MissP22

the 360 Experience is in full operation on the Discovery Princess and the Enchanted Princess by invitation for suites guests, VIP casino guests, etc. and

Is an exquisite journey.

You will probably receive a phone call to invite you the week before your cruise.  At that time be sure to mention the other cabin who are your traveling companions and they should have no problem accommodating your request.  We were given a choice of days and times.

IMO it should stay as an invite only.

Once you open up to the masses, who's to say they will abide by the no phone rule?

Done both 360 and chef's dinner; the latter people had their phones out all the time, and not living in the moment, which you need to be in the moment and fully immersed in 360.

Also, paying people *could* be demanding - "don't like what they served" or complain to guest services asking for a refund.

Invited guests appreciate everything and expect nothing.

$150 if/when they start charging as opposed to making it a perk for their selected guests.

Wow. Not exactly cheap, is it.

Is that a price they told you or just guess?

Somehow I find it hard to accept a price like that. It must be quite the experience.

It was wonderful.   They allow 20 people at each sitting and do 2 sittings a night.  Ours was 7:30.  Think the other was 5:30.   We went the first full day and it spoiled us for the rest of the trip!

Guessing you haven't been invited then?

We would gladly pay that for the experience again.

What price would you consider acceptable?

Just curious.

The question is: Do you think the experience thing is there to just whitewash a standard / mediocre food quality dinner?

Absolutely 100 percent no.

Food quality, preparation and presentation was top notch in every way. There was nothing standard about anything served. One of the best meals we've ever had, and most definitely the best on a cruise ship.

I read somewhere on Facebook that it was limited to 20

Chef's Table on a Royal Class ship is $110 I believe, and this is above that, so...not so much higher really.
