We were talking about that too. Starting November 2022, the DW and I started caloric deficit diets...We've lost a combined total of just over 150 lbs before this vacation. 

 

We came expecting to see gains, but it drives home the importance of having a healthy diet in the real world. 

 

We'll be going back to working hard at weight loss when we return home. We've already made a lot of different (better) choices on this vacation than we would have seen us making in the past!

CTCruiser001 ....are you going to the "Rumors" show at Syds tonight? If so will you be requesting a lead down by the Staff at the Haven desk? Only a week and a half till we sail on the Breakaway.

We do plan on going. There are two shows, 8 and 10 pm tonight. We have 6 pm reservations at Le Bristo, so we're torn.

 

The Concierge hours are 8 to 8. I'd hate asking to be escorted the back way for the 10 pm show, but we also don't want to rush our dinner either. Typically they request that you meet them in the lounge 45 minutes before the show starts, so we'd have to start and finish dinner plus get upstairs in under 75 minutes...We're going to ask Omar if our (non-existent) butler can meet us at the restaurant at 7:15 pm and escort us directly to Syd's.

 

We'll still have a rushed dinner, but this option would work best for us.

Wonderful news.  Wife and I haven't really started our post cruise diets but we've already lost a bit over 2 pounds since we got home.

I have cruise so many times on so many lines and can honestly say have never seen a bar 15 deep, have I seen 15 people at a bar with 10 of them sitting sure.

I'm sure it was an exaggeration, but I understand that posters frustration.  I would be very upset if my daughter had no clothes or personal effects because the cruiseline lost her luggage. When a dad is dealing with a distraught child, it can be hard to see the positive.  I hope their cruise gets better and the luggage is found and returned soon!

Update on Syd's: 

 

Spoke with Concierge Omar. He changed our reservation tonight from 6 pm to 5:30 pm. Also, he will meet us at the back door of the venue to allow us early access ahead of the line. It's raining in port now so much of the people who visited the island are already back on board.

Great on Omar moving your meal time to allow more eating time before the meet-up for Syds. After I read your post I called and moved my dimmer reservation to 5:30 also, so I can be-able to use Omar also. Thanks for the tips and Ideas.

While we have used suites many times with NCL, this will be our first Haven trip ...so looking forward to it.

No it’s not an exaggeration that bar lines have been AT TIMES 10-15 deep. So unless you are here, you have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m wondering if we have some Norwegian employees downplaying negative comment on this forum. I’m sure you doubt the lost bag comment as well.
