They want ships cleared to zero asap, usually around 9:00am or 9:30am.

They usually begin at 7AM with the walk offs & proceed rapidly with everyone else. By 9 AM you'll be hearing your name called if you haven't left the ship.

Believe this poster is thinking about embarkation (boarding). Latest disembarkation is usually around 9:30am. You are requested to leave your cabin by 8am and wait in one of the designated public areas.

We were in the last group a week ago and our disembarkation time was 9:35.  We left the cabin at 8:00 and sat in the Good Spirits bar having “breakfast” until time to leave.

Great answers from everyone, but I would like to add that some have had the thought of 'swimming in the morning' and enjoying the ship to the last possible moment.  This is not the case.  You will find pools roped off and your luggage leaving your room the night before, and a very 'rushed' routine of breakfast buffet. Those that choose self-embarkation will be pulling around their suitcases and the hallways are just a clutter of staggered cruisers waiting for the color to be called off.  Yes, you can waiting in the lounges and find coffee, but your last day on ship, is certainly staging the groups of people.  Note - plan on longer waits at the public restrooms near the lounges.
