Remember lobster claws on first night

Does anyone remember when on the first night of a cruise they used to have lobster claws at the buffet till they ran out.

It was not publicized but those who knew were there when the dinner buffet opened and was an appetizer for late 

sitting dinner. Can't remember when it ended

Does anybody think about the poor lobsters, trying to open a jar of pickles with just one claw?  Of course they don’t. 
 

(yes, the cold seafood display (especially on ships with Café Caribe) was a thing of wonder)

Everyone knows lobster do not eat pickles.
