Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. It's really a shame that someone can't call Princess directly and get a straight answer. As others have mentioned, the rep you talked to probably hasn't even sailed on a Princess ship before and has no idea to what the current dress code is like. It sounds like their just reading you what is published in their playbook of answers to give the public. Just listen to what the CC members have to say and you'll be fine on any ship.
  2. Just as doghog said, you'll see everything from shorts to tuxes and long dresses. They're allowing everyone to choose the style that fits them best. I'm sure the hostess is overjoyed not having to argue with the people standing in line about what their wearing.
  3. We dress down for comfort, regardless of the suggested dress code and don’t care what others choose to wear in the evenings. I will say that Princess's new dress code is the best thing they've ever done for all concerned.
  4. And now that the internet has increased 65%, it's even a better value, right. πŸ˜‘
  5. Simple mistake. I hope you didn't complain. πŸ˜„
  6. Princess realizes just how addicted some people are to using the internet and are taking advantage of the situation.
  7. No, they just won't let people book those restaurants before a certain number of days before the beginning of the cruise. I believe it's 40 days?
  8. Another Princess price increase that doesn't affect me. 😁 They can keep their internet and overpriced packages also.
  9. I think that change would sit well with lots of dedicated Princess cruisers.
  10. I've worn my DRY bathing suit in the DR on occasion and never had problems as they look like shorts once I put on a shirt & flip flops. On one cruise I was on they were just asking for people to leave their towels at the door & not bring them to the tables.
  11. Even that can be annoying if the suit is wet & you happen to sit in the same seat, which I've done.
  12. As long as his shorts or bathing suit was dry what difference does it make? They looks similar anyway.
  13. Not everyone sails with a package and doesn't want to pay the $14.99 to order food or drinks. I've seen many people at the buffet getting food in bathing suits and some even in the DR as long as they have a cover up.
  14. It's surprising to read those comments about the Enchanted. When we last sailed in March the DR was so cool my wife needed her jacket every night. They must have over compensated with the temp settings.
  15. That makes it a complete waste of money for us. We can use our WhatsApp when we reach port very nicely a fraction of the cost. The alcohol portion is questionable as long as you keep drinking, which we don't. A few a day is more than enough. All the other included things are just fluff for us.
