  1. Sounds like Goldilocks And The 3 Bears. πŸ˜„
  2. We always got 4 bottles (16.9 oz.) at a time to keep in the cabin fridge. I thought they charged extra for the larger 500ml bottles?
  3. We were on the Ruby in Nov and didn't have any complaints about the food other than the buffet selections being rather limited compared to any Royal class ships. The DR was pretty good, similar to Princess quality on any of their ships.
  4. I'm also patiently waiting for any news about the Park 19 opening, especially if there's any extra charges for the RollGlider.
  5. That's one of the reasons why we stopped going to that event. There's nothing special that you can't order in the DR.
  6. On the ship you can run across it on occasion but we always eat early at the buffet when the food is first presented and not picked over. On land you can only hope they conform to some health standards, which I seriously doubt especially in the Caribbean. I'll take my chance with ship food any day.
  7. Do you really believe that any of the restaurants in ports are much cleaner than the ships facilities? At least I know that on the ship they conform to some standards. In any port, who knows?
  8. Can anyone tell me if the IC on the Sun is serving muesli bars?
  9. For my wife & I, it's perfectly fine food. We aren't fussy eaters.
  10. Not having a "build it yourself" omelet in the DR would really surprise me as well. We don't normally eat in the DR for breakfast as it just takes to long.
  11. That's quite strange since they've had built you own omelets on the Enchanted for years now. It was on the end of the line closest to the Wake View Bar.
  12. I'm about a senior as they come on a cruise ship and still without taking extreme precautions, have never caught it. If the people that have serious health conditions maybe they should rethink cruising in general where it's next to impossible to separate yourself from the crowds.
  13. We've given up on anything close to formal clothing & cruise to relax. Thankfully, Princess no longer requires people to conform to dressing up on formal nights.
  14. I'm convinced that Covid is here to stay and I'm not going to worry about catching it. Live your life & deal with it if you do get it.
  15. You've got to eat the free meals first.πŸ˜‰ We never seem to miss the ships lunch even on port days. Why spend money on land when there's perfectly good food on the ship when you get back.
  16. Especially when seeing their act previously on another ship. 😁 Once was enough.
  17. After our last so-so experience at Sabatini's, we've taking a break from all the SD restaurants for a while and just enjoying the regular main dining restaurants.
  18. I'm thinking that it was just on one ship by a irritated manager. Thankfully most people are reasonable when applying decorations.
  19. On the Enchanted, service was so slow at noon that each day we would order dessert when first arriving at the buffet (things that weren't in the pastry Shop) and it would never arrive when we were finished with our meal. The head waiter would see us each day waiting & proceed to get our order for us. Their lack of staff is minimal at busy hours.
  20. We returned to the Ruby after spending many years on Royal class ships any while it was sufficient, it just doesn't compare to the newer layout with more selections seating & space to move around.
  21. If that's the case in the future, we'll just skip SD.
  22. Sounds like an interesting trip so far. πŸ˜„ Are there many door decorations?
  23. Also the last time we ate at Sabatini's the waitress made a special point to mention that extra appetizers we at a cost. At one time as many as you wanted were included.
