Mini Bar On Demand

I've never heard of this.  Our upcoming Daily Planner for 3 day cruise on Friday has this.  It says:  "Mini Bar on Demand.  It's your mini bar, so fill it with everything you like.  Order forms are located inside your stateroom and should be hung on your stateroom door once complete.  We offer same-day delivery for orders placed before 5 pm.  The mini bar is not included with beverage packages."

 

Does anybody know what the prices for these would be?  I a Diamond and also Prime in the casino, so don't have a drink package. But I am traveling with my son who is neither Diamond, nor Prime.  Trying to figure out economical ways for him to have some drinks.  Thanks.

Which ship? I just looked at our cruise on Wonder leaving Sunday and don't see anything like this in my Daily Planner.

I recall seeing that a few cruises ago.  There was a paper advertisement in the cabin.   The prices were about the same as standard on board prices per can, but you have the convenience of having the soft drink in the cabin when you want it.

No such animal on Wonder.  Unless it's on the Suite level. On past sailings I know the Suite guests have a bunch of amenities .

I recall it was a flyer left in the cabin on boarding day.  Can't recall the ship.  Not a suite perk and the beverages were not complementary.

Definitely not a suite perk unless you are in a Star class suite. Wasn’t available for our suite on Serenade in February

I definitely recall seeing the flyer post covid  ( more like a half sheet of paper with an order form  section.  And definitely NOT any sort of suite offering.  It was available to anyone who wanted to purchase a few cans of soft drinks. 

 

I recall mentioning the concept to my spouse.  We remarked that it was something new.  I don't  recall seeing it in the past 6 months or longer.
