ozzy23 Posted April 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2023 Hi, Just booked the Rotterdam 12 day Sunfarer for next March. Cabin availability for 4 was slim pickings and was curious if anyone has feedback on 7118? Better side of the ship for this cruise? Been on a few cruises about 10 years ago, but never HAL. Thanks! Rare shipshape sam Posted April 12, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2023 Agree that port or starboard and even aft does not really matter as you can get views from many places on ship. We like balconies and we find that when we reflect on our cruise, we realize we did not really spend much time out on balcony while sailing. We still like them and we do try to sit out on them. Just so much happening on ship. We actually find that we use balcony more while in port/ coming into port and leaving port.
AKJonesy Posted April 12, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 12, 2023 This will be a nice stateroom. You have staterooms above and below you so there won't be noise coming from common areas. You notice you have that little bump out on your deck? I was on RD in March 2023 on different deck with that bump out and the balcony is just a little bit bigger plus the balcony was covered a little more due to that bump. You got a good stateroom. Enjoy.
