That's a very good point.  I've not paid terribly close attention to the prices on board since I (nearly) always book beforehand in order to get a slot I want.  However, it does seem that the prices are higher, so an on board discount isn't much of an advantage.

Once you do board, if you can't find an equivalent price or a time slot you want, at least you already have a discount appointment booked.


I waited too long for May cruise but I grabbed slots for December.
