Favorite Stops on Your Celebrity Land Tour

Actually, while I, as an Alaska resident, would never consider any sort of cruise line sponsored land tour, I actually think that Celebrity does have at least one cruise line sponsored land tour which includes Homer.  We are on the Celebrity e-mail list for advertisement mailers and I believe I have seen Celebrity ads for cruise tours to Homer.

We enjoyed the Aleyska Resort stop.  It is a ski resort in the winter, however, in the summer we enjoyed the nice hiking trails around the property.   It is a very nice resort, we did not leave the resort property.

Probably my least favorite stop was Talkeetna.   However, to be fair, we did not take any excursions... It appears there are some awesome air based excursions that leave from there.    We just walked in the downtown which takes about 10 minutes to see everything.    The lodge that RCCL put us up was a couple miles from Talkeetna.  The lodge was nice and had beautiful sweeping views, but not as nice of a resort or as good hiking as at Alesyska.

Hopefully someone can answer this question.  (I do have an email out to our TA, but meanwhile.)

We are booked on a Celebrity Alaska Land Tour 8A this August.  I see mention of only two times within the itinerary description of the tour of a "meal on our own".  Does that mean that all other meals, B, L and D, are included and provided during the tour?

At the bottom of the cruise tour page:

* Alaska Cruisetour arrival times are tentative. The tour component of your escorted Cruisetour vacation is comprised of a dedicated tour guide, included experiences, lodging, and transportation as described. Optional excursions are not included. Meals are not included unless specified.

Likely, from the description, the only included meal is lunch on the bus in Denali.
