Wifi Plans Compared (?)

Will be on the Legend. If I want to use wifi calling and texting (but not surfing internet, watching movies, games, or social media), will the social plan suffice?

Also, if I want to access apps, do I need to upgrade to Value?

Also, when putting it into my cart for 2 people, both getting the same plan, I had to acknowledge that only ONE person could access the internet at a time. Is that true?  Even when BOTH are paying for their own plan?

Thanks!!

Not sure about the first question as I do not do wifi calling/texting.  My wife is on now and we communicate by Fa-ce-bo-ook messenger.  With Social.  If you want apps other than the regular social media apps listed, you will need at least Value.  No, if you both have a plan, both of you can be on at same time.

You can't do wifi calling or regular texting.  If you have an i-phone you can do i-message and facetime with the premium internet.  You can't do it with the social plan, but not sure about the value.  We typically get the premium, especially now that it's only $1.70 a day higher than the value.

Did not realize Wi-Fi calling was blocked.  Do you need to purchase a plan through your carrier if you need to be able to receive calls while at sea?

You will need to ask your carrier how much their roaming rates are for cellular at sea coverage. Or, you could try using Skype/zoom/etc with the Premium wifi plan.

Good point!  I had just purchased the Value yesterday for 2 cruises.  I think I'll go change them both.
