Would you recommend cruise transfer from port to SEA? Norwegian

Our family of 5 is doing an Alaska cruise from Seattle in a couple of weeks. The ship is scheduled to be back in Seattle at 6:00am and our flight leaves SEA at noon. Should I prepurchase Norwegian's transfer for $135 or bet on Uber? We all have TSA pre-check and would like to eat breakfast on the ship if that will be offered. Thanks for any advice you can provide. We know what to expect from Florida ports but first time doing Seattle. We did not purchase our airfare through Norwegian.

If the $135 is for all of you that may be the best bet. The NCL airport transfers depart at 8am. You will most likely need two Ubers with that many people. Another option is Yellow Taxi. They have a flat rate to the airport for about $40 and use an app like Uber/Lyft. If your flight is noon or later use Port Valet. Once you set your luggage outside your cabin door the night prior to disembarkation, it will be at your destination airport the next time you see it.

Breakfast will begin about 5:30am so you’ll have plenty of time for that prior to being allowed off which will begin closer to 7:30am.

We went through the Seattle airport on the way to Miami a few weeks ago and have TSA pre-check, it took 45 minutes. We also had to take the train to another terminal. Folks in the CLEAR line were through TSA in 10 minutes or so.

Please check the Seattle cruise ship schedule but I think that NCL uses Pier 66.  There is limited parking at Pier 66 as the terminal is essentially on the street.  While Pier 91 has a large lot for ride sharing vehicles Pier 66 does not.

If that $135 price is for the entire group then the NCL transfer may be the best option.  If you opt for Uber then clarify where the driver will plan to meet you as it may be best not to meet directly in front of Pier 66.

All good advice here. If, as said, the $135 is the total for all of you, then it is price wise, time wise and easier to take the ship shuttle.

I would think that 5 people and enough luggage for 5 would need two Ubers, which would cost much more than $135.

And if you do dock at Pier 66, ( which Norwegian generally does), you will have to walk with all of your luggage to Pier 91 to catch a ride share, whereas the shuttle buses are lined up right outside of your ship when you disembark.
