Muster First or Guest Services for Cabin Switch?

We are sailing on the Celebration in a couple of weeks and have 2 cabins(all adults) and need to do the room switch at guest services on board.   Normally I would head straight to guest services to try to beat the line and then complete our muster - BUT, the 2 cabins have different muster stations. I am a little concerned if we switch rooms first, muster might be a cluster if the switch doesn’t update on the iPads the staff have at the muster stations.

So what are everyone’s thoughts, Get in line at guest services or complete muster first?

I feel like the earlier you can get on board and get to guest services the better. The first 2 days on the Mardi Gras was super busy at guest services. But muster wasn’t bad. I feel like the potential to wait a long time for muster isn’t as big as a deal.

Are you actually switching rooms at guest services, or just getting room keys so you can share Cheers?

I will infer that it's the two husbands booked in cabin one, while the two wives are in cabin two.  The husbands will be getting Cheers and you can fill in the rest...

The importance of the question of course being, if you're not actually switching rooms but just getting keys then muster won't be affected. But if they are actually going to switch rooms then muster will presumably be affected. Either way I don't think the order of operations matters much. I would do muster first just because it takes very little time, but it's a toss-up.

If switching as you said, I would switch rooms then go to your muster station.

The new sail and sign cards they print for you will have the correct muster station on them once guest services reissue them.

Show them your card for your muster and they will scan and you will be good to go.

That’s good to know! I hadn’t thought about the fact that the new muster would be on the new S & S card.

We are actually switching rooms and getting new cards.  Wife and I both had casino offers.

We will head to guest services first!  Thanks everyone.
