Unfortunately not.  I was standing by my kids buying tickets for Barca socceer tomorrow on my husband's phone.

 

Then the stewardesses made me sit down.  Not sure why. Not like we are moving

Another fun potential wrinkle- as of ten minutes ago, luggage was pinging on the opposite end of the terminal.

Um?? DH is 6'3" I guarantee you his legs would not fit straight on. Are all Brits expected to be that short? Terrible.

I’m 6’2”, I feel his pain. Also, my own literal pain.

We’ve been stuck on the plane for an hour and a half now. That’s approximately as long as the air time of the entire flight. No further communication has come in over the last half hour. If we deplane, we may try and find a way to stay in London tonight and try to get to Barcelona again in the morning.

I’m not sure! Customs and security weren’t so bad here, but the airport was SLAMMED. I’m not sure if BA staff is involved in the strike…. The pilots blamed BA IT

We went through station 13 clearing customs at LHR. Station 13 clearing customs at BCN. Now we’re at bag claim 13. Oh, and our AirTags pinged in London an hour ago. COINCIDENCE?
