I work with people from Granada who told me the Alhambra was not to be missed. But, out TA cruise did not dock in Gibraltar, only Malaga, so we opted to do Gibraltar as an excursion from Malaga to see the monkeys instead.

What were your impressions of the Alhambra? I hope to make it there on our next trip.

Enjoying the trip report.

I would love to do an excursion from Malaga to Gibraltar.  Did you book through the ship?

And yes, Alhambra is beautiful.  But we have been there so looking for another experience in Malaga.

I booked through Spain Day tours:

We've been there at least 3 times - I think that is more than sufficient.

My next choice would be a visit to Cordoba.

Yes, due to the travel distance we booked through NCL. Our excursion included transportation to Gibraltar, and once there, a guided tour in a mini bus up the rock to the caves and to see the apes. Then we had about an hour free time in town. We loved our time there and would have loved a longer stay.

We used Spain Day tours in Seville and Barcelona. We did not have the best experience with them, despite the good reviews.

I'm sure every vendor has off days. We also used them this time for a Monserrat tour and had used them in the past for a previous tour to Alhambra. No complaints from us.

Sorry to hear this.  I have used them for tours in Spain and also in Lisbon.

I like the fact that they collect the payment when you book so that the person who arranges the tour does not need to collect it.
