Pinballs83 Posted June 10, 2023 #104 Share Posted June 10, 2023 I am doing this cruise September 17th so I am enjoying this thread. I hope you all have a good time. What is the best way to get to Cape Liberty from Newark airport? I have never been to that airport or cruise terminal and RC did not seem to offer me a transfer. I think my plane lands at 1045am. Rare DeerJod Posted June 10, 2023 Author #107 Share Posted June 10, 2023 (edited) Day one thoughts for those of you that like reading... Staff are absolutely amazing, I've never experienced crew so willing to help, serve, and be there. Really impressed with everyone on board that's wearing a name tag. DS loved AO tonight, he's a few months shy of the 6 YO requirement BUT they politely let him into the 6-12 on a trial basis. He was so into it, Hats off to the AO staff for letting him age up and have fun there. Aside from the lines to get into the cruise port, the ship itself hasn't felt FULL, we'll see what happens tomorrow with breakfast crowds, but all in all I've been impressed. Non Smoking casino in Jazz on 4 is awesome, but be prepared to bet 25$ per hand on BJ. So if you're into skipping out on carcinogenics and have the bankroll I support it. Rare DeerJod Posted June 10, 2023 Author #108 Share Posted June 10, 2023 We did deplete all 12 diamond drinks for those that are eligible. I handed out 3 red bulls to random recipients tonight, all were grateful!

I’d imagine Uber or Lyft, they might hate you for how they have to wait in line but that’s the nature of the job.

You can try JR's for breakfast. There's no charge and it wasn't too crowded two weeks ago.

Rare DeerJod Posted June 10, 2023 Author #116 Share Posted June 10, 2023 Included baby wipes on the changing table is a nice feature. Sadly the duck claw machine had too much to drink last night and is still sleeping it off.

LATTELOVE Posted June 10, 2023 #119 Share Posted June 10, 2023 (edited) We are on this cruise also. We had a very smooth check in yesterday. 25 mins from parking the car in the outside parking lot to boarding. Initially we were concerned with the Canada smoke in the area, but when we got to the port it was pretty clear. We had a beautiful sail away day. Passing Virginia Beach now, it has been a pretty smooth sailing, gorgeous day outside today. Deer Joe, Thank you for taking of your time to post, loving all the photos!! It wasn't on display, but if you asked the person behind the register, he would get it for you. It was $110, but I didn't get any because I got three bottles in San Maarten in February for $80 each. They had Blanton’s on sale for $109 on Harmony two weeks ago.
