Are there Champagne corks in the staterooms?

We were able to borrow one from our cabin steward  last August. Came home from that trip and purchased a champagne stopper to live in our travel gear, along with the ever-present wine opener.

Getting a champagne cork back into a bottle is a challenge since the end of the bouchon expands.

Take sharp knife.  Cut off the ‘mushroom bulb”.  Turn cork upside down and insert the thin end into top of bottle.  Press hardish until just over half of the cork inserted.  Good for a short term fix.

Thanks for your prompt clarifications! Just booked my first Cunard, thought I better clarify the important stuff! 😊

Not forgetting the ability to replenish (increase) stock at every port of call.

As an aside, at Martinique the rolling on a barrel of Rhum caused much amusement.

Just pop a teaspoon into the neck of the bottle if you haven’t got a proper stopper to use. Works fine as a back up.
