Additional Wine on Embarkation Process

Hello. We will be on the Caribbean Princess from Ft Lauderdale. We may bring some additional bottles of wine on board besides our complementary one bottle each. When checking in through security do we bring our additional wine bottles to a special area and pay the additional $15 for each bottle at that time? Any feedback on this process is appreciated.

I believe it is now $20 corkage per bottle. Princess normally has a "wine table" set up right after security check to take care of additional wine bottles. They do require it to be in carry on, NOT checked baggage.

One recent thread reported that Princess charged the 18% gratuity on the corkage fee...so it was $23.16.  We have yet to see this confirmed by other posters.

Place 2 bottles in your carry on each, and go through security separate, then it's not an issue. Now you have 4 bottles to drink.

Unless the wine check in table is set up which most time is not if you arrive early.
