Tipping question!

Hi

About to book on the MSC Seaside.

I read a bunch of threads about tipping. Lots of fighting in tipping threads it seems.

I read the MSC tipping page but have simple questions.

The cruise will add the tipping which i can pay during booking or at the end.

what is the rate?

we have an easy drink plus package, I understand tipping is included in the price of the package. Is this correct?

I m not asking if i can, cannot, should, shouldn’t tip extra. I keep that for myself as i don’t want to get into fights which are surprisingly common on this subject.

Thxs a lot

We sailed seaside 2 weeks ago. My tips for 7 days was around $115.00 each. Yes tips are included in the drink package. Tipping extra is your choice, you don't have to and we never felt like we had to (we did). Enjoy your cruise

The daily service/gratuity charge is added daily to your cabin account and is paid at the end of your cruise. You'll be asked to register a credit card on embarkation and the charge is added to this bill.

The drinks package has the service charge added into the price of the package, yes.
