Prebook restaurants

Hi,

 

Our first time on Celebrity Edge and we received an email asking us to book 1 of the 4 included restaurants.

 

All the times available were either 6pm. 9pm or 9.30pm.

 

Given there are only 4 restaurants but 7 nights then where do we eat the other 3 nights?

How can we eat at say, 8pm?

 

And does anyone know what time the evening entertainment starts as it would be nice to see that rather than having a very late dinner.

They do not pre reserve all the tables they keep about half set aside for walk up diners.  I would suggest you go abide before your desired time as there sometimes can be a short wait. 
 

The evening show in the theater is performed twice.  Generally at 7 and 9.  
if you want to eat at 8 I would suggest you go to the dining room about 7;45, as the 1st snow will end about 7; 50 and many of those folks will head to dinner.

I'll cancel the 9pm bookings and take our chance each night 🙂

Are you talking about the 4 Main Dining Rooms, or have you booked a speciality dining package?

 

If it is the MDR then you don't need to worry, as they are not using the advance reservations anyway, just go to the one that seems the least busy and you'll get seated with perhaps a short wait.

We only had a problem when we arrived at 6:30 and were told to come back in about 45 minutes.  The party ahead of us were 3 of the singers and dancers and they were told the same.  Thereafter, we arrived between 5:15 and 5:30 and walked right in.  We were told there were no reservations for any of those 4 MDR.
