We will arrive in Bermuda around 1:30 pm. Looking to do something away from where we are docked.  What would be a good afternoon place to visit on the first day?  Would like to get dinner while we are out.

Assuming you will be docked at the Royal Naval Dockyard I'd suggest taking the ferry to Hamilton and checking out the stores along Front St. There are many restaurants there. For a pub atmosphere we like to eat at the Hog Penny.

Will second the Hog Penny-- great pub.

Without knowing your likes, tastes, budget etc its impossible to make a recommendation. Hamilton has a bunch of options you can walk to and its easy to get to from the Dockyard.
