baytraller Posted July 1, 2023 #26 Share Posted July 1, 2023 If you load $100 of OBC - how do you know when you have bet 50% Are you able to accumulate the 50% with multi sessions

For example, I transferred $100 from my OBC and my husband transferred $100 and we both cashed out. But the next time we went to the casino, we were both locked out of the slot machines. A friend of ours was able to cash out $250 on her first transfer before being locked out. I don't know about the 50% bet rule as stated above, but I do know that you get only one transfer (without betting) to cash out.
mygreyhound66 Posted July 2, 2023 #28 Share Posted July 2, 2023 Can I ask a question on this please? I am not a casino person, so I’m quite confused. I have $200 obj from celebrity NFC. Can I go to the casino, on Summit, put in $200 on a slot machine against my room, spin a few times and then cash out, probably about $175 or so? To me if I get locked out of the casino for the rest of the cruise, it wouldn’t matter at all. I would just like to take the NFC as cash! Am I missing something? That has worked for me in the Past but someone said X (well the Casino) has "Fixed" that option. We would load our OBC in a penny slot machine and do the Cheapest bet and then Cash Out. On my April Millennium cruise I tried this and when I cashed out the voucher was only for the amount of the slot winnings. The balance went back to my OBC. If you load $100 + $10 (bonus) you must continue to play until all the $110 has been used - any leftover amount will be lost . This may be what happened

Seems like a reasonable way to close the loophole. We all know that cashing out without making bets is not how non refundable OBC is suppose to be used. If I have extra non refundable OBC, I play video poker. I make a series of bets equally my initial deposited OBC and then cash out the winners and ties. I also make sure to take advantage of any free money when they are trying to get people to spend some time in the Casino. Usually $10 a person. Not an issue in my upcoming Iceland to Boston cruise as used the OBC for some shore excursions.
