tgetz Posted July 5, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2023 If you have eaten in the Pinnacle when they offered De Librige , did you like it or not. Thanks in advance.

Rare Vict0riann Posted July 5, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2023 It's an interesting dinner, worth it to do it once. I preferred Le Cirque, but they don't do that anymore, and the Pinnacle Gala dinner seems to have disappeared. I'd definitely choose the Cellar Master dinner over De Librije, too. These are all the pics I have - B.C. (Before Covid) (I remember the deconstructed apple pie, but don't have a picture...)
Rare kazu Posted July 5, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2023 I asked the same question last Friday. Here is a link to that thread as I think there were some helpful comments. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2947629-de-librije-help-please/#comment-65647802

I believe the ship has to be sailing out of the Netherlands for it to be offered ? Not sure, but that seems to be the trend.
Rare POA1 Posted July 5, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2023 (edited) De Librije is a 3 Michelin starred restaurant in Zwolle, the Netherlands. We come down pretty squarely with Vict0riann - and her obviously refined palate. We tried it and liked it, but not enough to repeat it. If it's offered, and you haven't tried it, I'd be inclined to book it for the experience. On the other hand, we would have done Le Cirque repeatedly. (In fact, we did.) While the experience wasn't exactly like Le Cirque in NYC, it was a reasonable representation. Edited July 5, 2023 by POA1 1 1

It is available on our August cruise, British Isles out of Copenhagen on Nieuw Statendam. So maybe Northern Europe cruises? p.s. it also has the Indonesian Rijsttafel on that sailing

Maybe it is Northern Europe (although we head southernly from Amsterdam). It wasn’t offered on our Oosterdam cruise last November. Both it and our Rotterdam cruises are TA’s. So far, I have only heard of it offered on the 2 Pinnacle Class ships. Not sure if that’s coincidence or due to their itineraries or not. ?
