Has anyone been able to status match with Caesar's Diamond status to Carnival casino for good casino deals?

Or will they poo-poo us doing this because we have so much history with Carnival and they *know* we aren't big gamblers.

Only reason we are Caesar's Diamond is we status matched from a Wyndham Business card that gave us high status.

Carnival casinos don't have status. But yes, adding your land based casino cards to Carnival FunMatch can increase your casino offers.  MGM Rewards might have bigger bang since they are their sports betting partner.  The higher status you have in all travel related industries the more you hit the casino marketing demographics.  Mind you, that your Carnival account email needs to match the other sites.   But you do need to spend some time gambling.

I'm a NCL cruiser, looking to maybe try Carnival for the first time.  NCL includes drinks with all their casino bookings, so no drinks has me holding out on trying Carnival.  I just read about the FunMatch you mentioned, so I'm going to see if I can qualify for drinks this way.  I'm uploading my MGM gold card and Caesars Diamond Plus card.  I'll see what it gets me.  I already have the comp cruise thru my land based casino

You would need to wait for a new booking offer.  They aren't going to offer you anything once onboard just for taking these steps.  Onboard comps are given based on your play compared to other players on that sailing and at the discretion of the casino.  The free drinks in the casino while playing are guaranteed once you hit 1500 slots points.

I actually signed up for an account today, and there is already an offer for dinks and $50 credit

There you go.  Also proof that offers are based on marketing demographics and not onboard play.

That's how I feel.  I have spent as much as I am comfortable spending in the casino on numerous occassions and I don't get offers. I got a couple of crap ones during Covid and that was it.  Even my husband and Mom get better offers and my husband gambles less than I do. And my Mom has only been on 1 cruise.

What demographic am I that makes Carnival not want to give me offers? I don't know. Only thing I can think of is that I am younger than them and better looking.  (I kid. I kid.)

2 years ago I saw a Carnival Casino ad on FB & sent in my Diamond card.

Immediately got an offer for a free cruise--3 days to 2 weeks, all over.

We chose a 14 day Hawaii cruise & were pleased we loved it even tho others said we would not like Carnival after all the other lines we have sailed.

We just got essentially free cruises in AUS with the FP offer.

Also seeing $100 offers.

We don't gamble as much on a cruise as in Vegas so our offers are Interiors...but we were called with an offer for $700 upgrade to balcony on that sold out Hawaii cruise so no complaints. $700/2 for balcony on 14 day cruise--still a deal.

I did it with Wynn, M-Life and Cosmo Platinum 10/22. Figured everyone burned out Caesar’s Diamond status. Go a balcony room offer up to 30 days, $250 free play credit and free drinks in the casino.

Maybe it’s the ship (Miracle 14 day Alaska) or Carnival as a whole but I’m not impressed. Feel like I boarded the Spirit airlines of ships. Looks like MSC matches elite status levels so going to check out their benefits and reviews.

they certainly share info , I gamble in Vegas about 4 times a year, mostly at the bellagio which is mgm .. I don’t really gamble on ships .. I aways have very good offers from carnival (basically room and drinks for tax ) only took them up on one.  So they for certain   share info or profiles.

We are platinum on Carnival so I know what to expect.

And having flown Spirit before, Carnival is not that bad.
