Jewel - MTD Reservations for a group

Recommended Posts

Hi.

Two questions, really.

We have a group going on JOTS in February 2024.

Most of us have MTD.

We don't expect or need to all eat together every night, but if we want to make a MTD reservation for say six people, would we have to link our bookings ahead of time in order to make a reservation for all of us to sit together?

Secondly, for JOTS, the app is saying MTD reservations will be available once we board the ship.

Is that common? Most of the threads I have read here say that the reservations system opens up quite a bit before the cruise.

As long as you have the info for the other parties you can book MTD dining without having to link ahead of time.

Don't use the app, but the planner to book MTD and they should be available now.

By the planner, do you mean the "plan your cruise" area on the website?

I've looked there under dining, but it just says the standard "coming soon"

Yes, keep checking for it.

Even if you do things very well prior, there can be a glitch. have someone from the group go to the dining room right after boarding to confirm and get your table, have your printed copies, and res #s and cabin #s.  There is usually a line, and usually someone not quite nice. Be very nice and respectful and you will get what you want. It never has failed me.

Good Advice, Thanks!
