I let Royal know my preference ahead of time for each cruise and have never had an issue, but I would just ask if I got on board and there was.

There is a limited number of two tops but some are so close together that the person next to you is closer than your partner. And as for conversation there is no cone of silence.

Oasis Class has two tops along the balcony railing..

If you are okay with 2 to 3 inches between tables.
