Chinook Wind Posted July 9, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2023 Considering purchasing the 7-day Thermal Suite passes for our upcoming Pacific Coastal on the Noordam. If I buy now I don't imagine it would count towards the on-board spending would it? (I am so close to 4* so it all helps.) However, if I wait to purchase when I'm on board I then run the risk of spaces being sold out...but if spaces are available then I'd would get the credit towards 4* Aaack 😜 Advice? Rare horseymike Posted July 9, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2023 I would hope that a pre cruise purchase would apply towards onboard spending. It will be interesting to see what the CC readers have to say about this. Good Luck 🍀
RuthC Posted July 9, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2023 Pre-cruise spending counts toward Mariner Days, even though it is charged in advance. It does not have to appear on your final tab on board the ship to be credited.
Chinook Wind Posted July 9, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted July 9, 2023 Yay! Thank you RuthC. That's the answer I was hoping for.
Rare POA1 Posted July 9, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2023 I'm pretty sure that it's discounted for advance purchase. I'm not sure if you get a better deal if you are in a spa stateroom or suite.
Rare Haljo1935 Posted July 10, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2023 (edited) Thermalspa pass is not discounted when purchased in advance - price is same on board. As mentioned, there is a risk of being sold out if you wait until onboard to purchase. If you book other services, you should get a reduction on the Thermalspa pass, even if you pre-paid. Just ask when you book. Edited July 10, 2023 by Haljo1935 Additional comment
