mets123 Posted July 14, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2023 More details are needed , such as port, and your definition of what the shuttle bus is for.
Joseph2018Baltic Posted July 15, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2023 First a shuttle bus is a short trip, between say the ship, and a drop off place. A tour bus, is larger, and can have a luggage area. An excursion bus on small islands can just be a very large mini van. Point is, saying a shuttle bus, it will be a big Maybe. Without know any details, no one can answer you and even if they do, they still might be wrong. My wife has a travel scooter, and very seldom hafe issues, but if it is a shuttle bus, often times, since a "shuttle" is used for short trips, we just walk/drive scotter. RD64 Posted July 16, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 16, 2023 Be prepared - many European cities are not as accommodating to people with disabilities.
gluecksbaer Posted July 16, 2023 #7 Share Posted July 16, 2023 For excursions try accessibleexcursions@rccl.com or shorexaccess@rccl.com. It takes forever to get a reply, but they will check with local operators on excursions to see if you they can accommodate you. I was originally told by them that the accessible excursions are only for people who cannot walk up the stairs in a motorcoach or are full-time wheelchair users, but in later emails they offered one of the accessible tours in one of the ports we visited so that appears to be somewhat negotiable.
