Cruisin Country Cruise

Recommended Posts

Finally, after 4 long years I have a cruise booked! Couldn't say no to the special on the Cruising Country cruise on Brilliance of the Seas in December.  Prices dropped from about $4000/person to $1800/person.  Still some cabins available if anyone is thinking of going.  $4000 was way too expensive for a weeks cruise. Haven't got my holidays approved at work yet but minor technicality...

Don't know much about how these charter cruises work but looks like we don't even get access to the RCL app to make bookings etc until right before we sail.  So I'm guessing there wont be any specials on drink prices beforehand that we can lock in.

We have been on 3 previous CC cruises & had one cancelled due to COVID. They are great - as they say, you can sleep when you get home. Entertainment all over the ship from 10am until maybe 3 am. Not cheap by any means, but it's only money 🙂 The lineup for this year looks great & we booked a year out, paid a price we were comfortable with & got to select our preferred cabin. Have seen some special prices lately as they may be struggling to fill the ship.

Yes, as charters there is no reservation number or access to booking anything until close to sailing on these cruises as this comes thru the charter company not RC. Also, from what we have seen previously there are no specials on purchasing ahead of time drink packages etc.

125 days to go!!!!

$4000 is a good price for these cruises, although we drop down to an inside cabin for these to keep the price down. These cruises are very well organised, and you will be immersed in entertainment for the whole trip. You are also on a cruise full of others that are there for the music too, so everyone has a good time together.

As said re drink packages. At one stage a few years back, they wouldn't allow you to pre-purchase them at all, so it was organised with a waiter in the buffet after boarding.
