Which transfer from Barcelona hotel to airport?

We will be staying in Barcelona one night after our cruise.  Our hotel, Hotel Colon, suggested a taxi or a service (whom I emailed and got an extremely high price).  Our flight is on a Sunday at 6:05 am so probably no traffic issues.  Should we just have the hotel call a taxi?  For Athens our hotel suggested Welcome Pickups.  I tried them for Barcelona and got a rate of 45 Euros (the service hotel suggested was 88 Euros!).

88 euro sounds a bit excessive.  The time you are leaving will probably still have taxi drivers working taking people home after Saturday night outings so why not use the hotel ? Welcome pickup rate sounds fair but perhaps it is one of those middle men companies that are not always recommended.

I've used Welcome pickups and they were good. This was pre-Covid.

Thanks.  I also posted on another site and Welcome Pickups was recommended by several people.  I think I will book with them.

I haven’t used any taxi but the Rome to Rio app suggests taxi price from centre to airport, approx 15km, $35-45 so Welcome Pickups sounds reasonable.
