NoName Posted July 30, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2023 I am not referring to the Haven pool, rather the aft Tides pool on deck 10. Is the tides aft pool family friendly? Thanks. Kim

Gizmo88 Posted July 31, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2023 (edited) usually the Aft pool is adults only (all ships) which is separate from Serenity Edited July 31, 2023 by Gizmo88
Rare PrincessArlena'sDad Posted July 31, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2023 Kids can use the tides pool and hot tubs on Horizon. Posted hot tub rules say 8 years old, maybe. Definitely less than 11 (my youngest kid's age). It was full of kids all week. This was from the July 8 sailing.

rainbowflag Posted July 31, 2023 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2023 (edited) Pools not located in the Serenity area are open to children whether they be forward, midship or aft with the exception of Havana. Edited July 31, 2023 by rainbowflag
Stick93 Posted August 1, 2023 #8 Share Posted August 1, 2023 Pools are for everyone. No real rules anymore
StephPS79 Posted August 1, 2023 #9 Share Posted August 1, 2023 There are still some ships where the aft pool is adults only. Just not all. Glory, for example, has signs at the aft pool for adults only, on most sailings.

While the spirit class ships have the aft pool as serenity (and therefore adults only), I was unaware of others doing it (have not been on a conquest class ship in a good while tho). I am curious why they would change this for specific sailings (on the Glory or other COnquesat class ships).

Having the two midship pools is really nice. Conquest class only has one midship pool. I guess it would make sense to have the aft pool be adults only during school, when there aren't that many kids. However, during vacation time, there are too many kids to expect them all to use the one midship pool, and therefore it would make sense to make the aft pool for kids also. I don't know if they actually do this, but it would make sense.
80sGal Posted August 3, 2023 #12 Share Posted August 3, 2023 Just off the Glory 7/16 sailing. The aft pool was under renovation the first 2 days (real renovation, way more than cleaning). After that was reopened and the signs appear to be permanently affixed to hot tubs and at pool. ADULTS ONLY.
