Passenger change after final payment

Is this possible?  I have a trip planned in November and now there’s a chance my husband may not make it. Can I change the second passenger?

I'm pretty sure you can (call Carnival) but they're going to charge you a fee (I believe its $100) to do so.

 

did you try to do it online?  I've heard that if you make changes online (and I've not confirmed this myself, so take it for what it is) that you don't get charged that fee...

I haven’t tried anything yet. We’re still at the maybe stage. Just looking for a heads up if/when DH has to bow out.

Did you book a special offer under his name?

This is true, I would call Carnival and ask.  I've had to change names for others, Carnival says it's $50 before final payment, $100 after final payment.  However, I changed one recently after final payment, and it was still only $50..so if you have to change, you may get lucky.

No. I’m the primary passenger, he’s second. It was booked under one of my offers.

It could be the whole deposit according to the website.
