Old 60 (or 50), new 60, new 80..... Confusing!!!!

Hi ev1 - a quick question. It seems I have the old Plus because Travel Summary does not list the 2 Casual Dining, Ocean Now and Room Service delivery. We do not really care about the Premier drinks, but in all cruises we do get room service (breakfast), try specialty dining (probably the Catch), and photos to frame as a souvenir. Casual dining woud also be something interesting to try on Princess - so what would be the cost of upgrading to the Premier? 20USD pppd, or first I need to upgrade to the New Plus (10USD pppd maybe????) and then to the Premier? Trying to figure if, financially, is worth to upgrade, or simply Pay As We Go .

Thank you all

Plus $50 is a great price.  To upgrade to Premier is $30 per day/per person.

Plus $60 will get you room service/ocean view and casual dining.

Is an additional $20 x 2 per day worth 2 specialty dining, one photo, and reserved seating?  A photo, I think, is $25.

So, from your reply, it seems I have Plus 50 (through a TA at a great price). Travel Summary just lists the items we got, but not the package name. So, I would need to pay $30pppd (30*2*7=$420) to upgrade to Premier. Specialty dining $80, Casual Dining 2*30=$60, Photos $50, OceanNow $15 = Total $205. Math seems to be against this .... Thank you.

Room service Breakfast is still no charge if you order using the hang tag for the door and not order over the phone.

Ocean Now will be a one time charge of $14.99 to have the service for the entire cruise. (This is a per person charge for each person who wants to have the service.)

The only reason we have Plus 60 on our next 6 cruises is to at we re after them to Casino discounts or free cabins and had to pay the new price to get the large discounts. I can see no reason to call room service or order something via the app and since we usually cruise non Royal class all casual restaurants have always had a charge. When we had Plus 50 never missed the gross desserts or exercise classes or juice bar. Always get by on our $15 drink limits
