Yes. Internet was great in Alaska. A big change from the ships last year. Worth paying for.

Our Alaska cruise on the Ruby in July didn't have Starlink. The internet was slow and horrible!  Do some Princess ships actually have Starlink?

I was not aware that Ruby did not...MOST Princess ships do.

Just to add, we streamed music (several times), streamed video (a few times), and used FaceTime (with video) - all with no lag or buffering.

 

As I said, worth paying for (for real).

How true. Last year no internet in Skagway and this year no problem. Did a speed test twice this trip and it has come in around 3.5 mbs both tomes including Skagway.
