Menus for future cruises on App

For the past month or more the menus for my future cruises have changed not for the good. In the past I could see the entire dinner menu for each day on the app. The next cruise is a 10 day cruise. First the last three days of menus disappeared. For the past month every day's dinner menu have disappeared. The only items appearing on the menu are desserts for the first 7 days. Anyone else having the same issue and does anyone know what is going on? I am assuming it is due to the terrible IT support that Celebrity has for their web page and the app.

All I can say is the app is not accurate until you board and even then I don’t 100% trust it.  If you want to see current menus you need to look at a current sailing on the app.

We wait until we are sitting in the MDR with menu in hand.

I agree that we wait until in the MDR to see what is for dinner. It is just interesting to look at changes seeing all of the uproar over menu changes. We have always found great thiings to enjoy every night of every cruise on Celebrity. Some of the newer items have really been wonderful to try. We enjoy smaller portions also. As we get older I don't want to eat the portions that I have in the past. Just like to look and dream of what is coming.

I get it and would be great and helpful if the app could be trusted for menus.  At least the app works for selecting pre cruise check in times, muster drill and health questionnaire. 

 

We don't even look at the menu posted at the entrance to the MDR when they post it each day in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, I could see the first eight-night dinner menus in the app for our upcoming 16-night Trans Atlantic.  Quite a  change from past Celebrity sailings and I don't mean that in a good way.

In the last 6-9 months the norm has been that the menus have been either in accurate, incomplete or totally missing until 10 days prior to 1 day prior to cruise departure.

 

If interested I would recommend finding a cruise on the same ship  with same number of days for a current cruise.    In addition to the normal delay in posting they are releasing new menus as of September 1 which may also affect what you are seeing.   

 

In reality I find that the menus are identical on all of the this so also be effective choosing any ship.

 

I was looking at the new menus yesterday and they were fully loaded for the Current Apex and Silhouette.

You can try deleting the app and downloading it again and see if that does anything.

As everyone has mentioned, the only menus that can be remotely trusted are the ones for current cruises.  When is your cruise?  The Silhouette's current cruise menu probably isn't as accurate as other S-class ships because it's sailing out of the UK (some different entrees and sides).  Try checking the current 8-night Equinox cruise which began today.  I just perused the MDR dinner menus for all 8 nights....wow, I'm really depressed.

The reason why the menus show only dessert or in some cases kids menu is because the old menu has been deleted and will be added closer to your cruise, sometimes it posts below the desserts so be sure to scroll down. It is not a glitch.
