bullsh Posted September 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2023 Hello everyone I haven’t been to Labadee in a long time and have a few questions 1) Are there free lounge chairs on the beach 2) There looks to be a couple of beaches, which is the best? 3) Is it like Cococay with food and bar? Available to use drink package? Thank you In advance.

firefly333 Posted September 3, 2023 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2023 Coco cay is more like a amusement park to me. Labadee is more a original beach setting.

A little further away from the ship so it is usually a little less crowded. Sandy with a gentle slope. There’s a buffet close and restrooms. Quite a bit of shade. Surprised no mention of the infamous ‘marketplace’. Personally, that’s one of the reasons we love Labadee so much. Over the years we’ve made so many purchases of wood carvings and they are happy reminders of the good times we have enjoyed. This native Brooklyn girl loves a bargain and the thrill of haggling!🤣

Honestly, while we sail in suites, last time we went to labaee we were bitten by sand flies at barefoot beach. Remember to bring bug spray- necessary! Agreed. My wife said this exact thing just the other day. I enjoy exploring while at Labadee.
