When buying Wi-Fi, if you have a phone and a lap top, with 2 passengers, can you get away with a package for one device, as long as you use one at a time.

can you switch devices, after buying Wi-Fi for one device?

or if you have 2 people with 2 devices do you need 4 packages?

If one device is connected and you attempt to sign in on another device you will be asked if you want to kick off the first device.  Alternatively you can sign out on the first device then the next device that signs in will just connect.

When sharing one login it becomes partially an etiquette thing as the other device may not know it's been booted off.  If that is your spouse elsewhere on the ship and they are waiting for an important text, email or call, when you boot them off that important thing will never come.  At that point you may have explaining to do.  🙂

Unlike MSC who locks your plan to the first device you log in with, Royal lets you sign in and out multiple devices on one plan.  One connected at any given moment for a one device plan.
