Check-in Time Bayonne

Earliest aJust registered for Jewel cruise in Mid October and the earliest available time was 11:30-12.

I did it very and after talking with others that registered that this was the earliest time.

Has anyone else heard of this? I could understand if it was late coming into port the day before.

Just got off of the Liberty, sail date was 8/24/23.  Arrival time was 11:30, arrived at the port at 10:30.  When we got to the building, they just more or less waved us through.  Never stopped walking.  Was on the ship by 10:45.  Smoothest Embarkation process ever.  They had many, many people working.   Getting off the ship was even easier, once they called your number, again… you just kept walking.  No need to show passport, facial recognition.

11:30 is not that late.

Our earliest for the Greenland cruise next week was 12:30, but since it’s coming from a TA, there’s a coast guard inspection. I’m one that goes for a later arrival time now. I would rather be closer to cabin ready times.

My recent experience in Bayonne was that the scheduled arrival times are not checked.  Until I hear otherwise, I'll consider Bayonne to be "show up whenever".

We logged in as soon as possible and got 11am, was told 1030 was the earliest.

Good to know because I booked my cruise more last minute and only 12:30 was available. Given we usually get 10:30 and get there at 10:20 I was nervous the parking would be a madhouse by then, so I’ll still aim early and if we get through consider it a bonus I guess!
